Thanks...Its been along time since I got to see Colorado. My nephew took those and I stole them from him I just soaked them in because I miss them so much. We used to go there all the time while I was growing up.
yeah...i miss it too!!! i moved from washington to idaho to colorado to misouri (misery)! i miss mountains so much when i'm away!...have you been to the hidden glacier lakes spread in the mountains? don't you love them?
oh you poor dear...your in missouri...that is as bad as living in OK which is where I am originly from. I couldnt wait to leave there. I have been all around colorado but I dont remember the names. I was alot younger and didnt care. I do know that my mother and sister and I were hiking in the mountains and we came along this beautiful little stream and I saw something shinny. I reached down for it and it was a brand new bottle of Coors beer. I kept that thing for years. It was so funny finding a brand new bottle of coors beer in the middle of a stream up in the mountains. I must have kept that for 20 years before finally getting rid of it.
well.... technically i'm back in washington...for like 10 more days -_-..... then it's back to hell!..though the storms are so incredible out there...i do enjoy those! i love huge thunderstorms. and even tornados, though i do feel bad for the damage they cause for people...they're just so intense you gotta love 'em.
that's great! people can really get attached to things that mean something special. i got this strip of fabric a couple years ago that i've worn on my wrist everyday. this old woman gave it to me when i went to go visit my grandpa in the hospital. i don't know her name, or who she was. she told me stories about travelling and how she hoped to find her love again. then she said "oh , allie! i'm so glad you came to see me off!" she kissed me and then gave me the ribbon. even though i'm not her allie, i'll always keep that thing.......but, yeah. not as cool as your story, but i think it's good to have little treasures like that! it keeps the heart fresh!
Well enjoy your trip I also love severe weather be it thunder storms...(my Favorite) with lots of lightining...and lots of rain. I used to love tornado season as we would gets lot of thunder storms...not many toranado would come by but every couple of years one would come through our little town and suck the roof of the school of course as kids we loved it...NO SCHOOL...ahhh your making me feel old telling all my old stories... Take lots of pics and be sure to share
